9/13-25までノルウェー旅行に行ってました。
観光客なのでお気楽です～。今まで数えきれないくらいノルウェーに行っていますが、今さらながら気づいたことは・・・。
Hei！
という単語の重要性でしょうか。
Hei！は朝・昼・晩、誰に対しても使える挨拶です。場合によっては「いらっしゃい」「いってらっしゃい」「ただいま」諸々もカバーする万能の単語なんですよね。
もちろん、Heiの大事さは以前から分かっていたのですが、今回の旅でさらに確信がUP！
ブタさんにもHei！
電車やバスなど公共機関で、見知らぬ人とは話さないのが一般的なノルウェー（ベルゲンは例外と聞きました）。
お互いに自分の平穏を守っている感がありますが、そんな見知らぬ人へ「怪しい者でないです、ちょっと声をかけてもいいですか」という信号を発するのがHeiなんじゃないかと感じました。
この人にはHeiと言えませんでした・・・
Heiと言う時に笑顔をプラスするのが、さらに理想です。
オスロで毎年9月に開催されるMatstreif「食の祭典」は、全国各地の農業関係者が出店しています。在オスロの元生徒さんとぶらぶら見学に行ったのですが、Hei！Hei！と言う声があちこちで飛び交っていましたね。
自分からもHei！と声をかけたり、かけられたり・・・Hei！と声をかけられると、自然と嬉しくなります。また、黙って試食や写真を撮るよりも、Hei！とまずは挨拶をした方がぐっと心証が良くなると感じました。

青木先生、8月の発音レッスンではお世話になりました。食の祭典の会場にいらしていたんですね！わたしもたまたまその週の金曜日にオスロにいて試食&買い物を楽しみました。先生は何か買われましたか？
そういえばわたしの住む田舎では、散歩などで人気のない場所を歩いているときに他の人に会うと、たいてい笑顔でHei!とあいさつをし合います。知らない人でも移民でも関係なくニッコリ笑いかけてくれるのでほっこりします。でももちろん自分が相手から目をそらして地面を見ていたらそうはならないので、やっぱりこちらからも笑顔を準備してさりげなく目を合わせるのが大事だなーとしみじみ思います。
